When they come in, the Agent would lade assistance <br /> looking them over. He could also use some help going over reports from two <br /> consultants involving the proposed work on the herring run. Ralph Shaw <br /> volunteered. <br /> It was agreed Ralph Shaw, Harry Desrosiers and Chuck Green will sit on this <br /> subcommittee. Meeting to be held on Monday; bids to be picked up Friday. <br /> C C: The Commission was advised Chuck Green was appointed to the <br /> steering committee. Mr. Green stated they were to have met on 'Tuesday but <br /> did not because of the storm. He was asked to represent the Commission <br /> when appointed. <br /> The Chairman stated he and the Vice Chairman were not contacted for this <br /> appointment. The Commission wishes to appoint its own member. They can <br /> appoint Mr. Green as a member-at-large. <br /> Mr. Green advised the purpose of the committee is to discuss alternatives to <br /> the DCPC. They are under time constraints. 'There is an article at town <br /> meeting and they are looking to cone to town meeting with some sort of <br /> alternative. <br /> Mr. Desrosiers stated town officials have by-passed procedures. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked if the Selectmen are within their rights by appointing <br /> someone? <br /> Mr. Rosenberg stated they can appoint anyone they want. He felt it would be <br /> di i ult for Chuck if he goes to a meeting and is asked the position of the <br /> Commission. He would have to come back to the Commission. <br /> Mr. Green stated on the evening they decided to go this way, they granted to <br /> take someone from all the Boards in Town. <br />
