Mr. Rosenberg stated it should be made clear to Mr. Green what the position of the Commission is with respect to a DCPC and that it is clear that he has to get the Commission's position if there is any alternative suggested. Mr. Green stated the committee is not advising upon the DCPC but is looking to find an alternative to offer to the Board of Selectmen to offer to Town Meeting. They are looking for a way to fix the river without a DCPC. Mr. Sherman suggested it may be in order to send a letter to the Selectmen stating objections to normal procedure not being followed.. Mr. Green stated the first meeting is Tuesday. If he has no direction from the Commission, he wig. not attend. It was agreed. the ,Agent will draft a letter for the Chairman and. Vice Chairman to review. Tar. Green advised when he was first offered this seat on the committee, he stated he felt Greg Wirsen would be a better person.
