18 September 1997 <br /> Page 6. <br /> Mr. Agnitti stated it affects the waterway, the wildlife, the vegetation on that <br /> side and in turn affects ecological structure of the entire bay. He asked when <br /> the hearing would be held for Board of Appeals? <br /> Mr. Rosenberg advised the Commission could not grant any permits until <br /> after it has gone through the Board of Appeals. He made Mr. Agnitti aware <br /> that the Commission statutorily has to operate on a time schedule but the <br /> Board of Appeals sloes not. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated the Commission can only look at the ecological values. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg stated this application can be heard but no permits can be <br /> granted until this goes through Board of Appeals. <br /> Mr. Desrosiers asked if there is a letter in the ale from the Harbormaster and <br /> SheMh Warden? <br /> Mr. Rosenberg stated, with respect to interested parties, there has to be <br /> certified notice to abutters and a public notice in the newspaper, if you want to <br /> mobe the n epi hb ors. <br /> ills Terrio Bread from the letter to Norman Hayes. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg stated it was agreed the plan should be to scale, 1" = 20' and <br /> the location shown. <br /> Mr. Desrosiears stated there are 2 - ' x 3' pilings driven, with 19 additional <br /> pilings and an abutment for the whole pier. <br /> Ms ' errio stated there are contour lines with no de -liti. n and wetland flags <br /> were not numbered.. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated Dr. Crawford from WBNE R has done a study near <br /> where the pier is proposed.; he will get a copy of his report, <br /> Mr. Agnitti would like to see a drawing of how far that structure comes out <br /> into the bay. Mr. Desrosiers stated that would be the concern of the <br /> Harbormaster and Board of Appeals. <br /> Mr. Rosenberg stated if this is a commercial operation, someone has to be <br /> responsible. <br />
