22 January 1998 <br /> Wage 13. <br /> Mr. Grotzke stated the Building Inspector would determine this. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated no decision could be made tonight. He would be willing to <br /> look at an alternative plan. The Chair agreed, he would not want to go 14 feet <br /> if there is any other way around it. <br /> Mr. Grotzke suggested he maneuver it for a r ih imum of 5 feet more and <br /> extend the vegetation down. <br /> Mr. Johansen advised the DEP number was not received., an excise tax is due, <br /> Board of Health and Appeals necessary. Mr. Sherman advised comment from <br /> Board of Health was that no plan was filed.' This has been clone. <br /> Public comment: George E of 16 Spoondrift stated his land is 10 feet lower <br /> than this applicant. He asked how far is this pool to the seawall? Mr. Grotzke <br /> stated it will probably end up 25 or 30 feet from the seawall. Mr. Ems asked <br /> the size of the pool? It is 540 s.f. Mr. Ems stated that is about 25 x 30 which <br /> would contam 30,000 gallons of water. He stated it is planned to put the <br /> leach field on the back end of the property and asked if he was aware where <br /> his leach field is <br /> The Chair stated this is beyond the purview of the Commission. <br /> Mr. Elhs stated if this pool comes into being, he will have serious potential <br /> problems on his land. The pool will have to be back-washed even other day <br /> and he asked where that back-wash water is going. It will go to a drywell. <br /> Mr. E.lis stated it will be 200 gallons of water per minute. He asked where i <br /> is going? Mr. Grotzke stated into the ground. Mr. El]. stated it is treated <br /> water. Mr. Grotzke stated it is not chlorinated, it is treated with to atlon. <br /> The Chair told. Mr. E1l is no one is allowed to drain water onto his property, <br /> but that is not within the Comrnisions purview. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated the Commission is meted to the eight interests of the <br /> Act, which do not include damage to private property. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to continue the hearing to 19 February <br /> 1998 at the request of the applicant. Unanimous Vote. <br /> HEARING CONTINUED TO 19 FEBRUARY 1998 AT :30 P.M. <br />
