19 February 1998 <br /> Page 7. <br /> Ms Ball advised the 3 large ice-breaking Pigs proposed wih not be installed <br /> as the Harbormaster opposed then. He suggested rotating the float parallel <br /> to the pier itself. According to the Shellfish Warden, there is nothing in the <br /> area. <br /> W. Sherman stated the Comr •ssion normally prefers a plan scale to be 1" <br /> 29. Ids Ball stated this was done for Chapter 91 requirements. The <br /> Commission agreed to wept these plans. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked how many pilings? Ms B all stated 2 , 4 in the s alt <br /> marsh. The diameter is 10". He asked why they would be impacting 19 s.f . <br /> of salt marsh? Ms Ball was told it would take approximately the diameter <br /> and then about " around it to install the pilings. The piles will.be driven and <br /> the plugs will be removed and planted in the periphery. Ms Ball stated they <br /> have done this preciously through their office and it has worked. Revised <br /> stamped plans will be provided. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated a written report will be necessary from the Harbormaster <br /> and sheURsh Warden. He asked the size of the boat intended for this dock? <br /> It was undetermined at this time. Mr. Sherman stated the size of the boat <br /> will be restricted to ensure that the depth of the propulsion unit will not <br /> exceed the depth of the water. This was agreed. <br /> Mr. Sherman asked where they were with Board of Appeals. It was approved <br /> pending the Commissioes action. Issues outstanding: ]SEP number, <br /> Attestation of Ownership, Shellfish Report, Board of Appeals decision. He <br /> asked if the use of the plugs was written in the Notice? Ms Ball stated it was, <br /> on page 416 of her report. <br /> Public comment* none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close pending IEP number, Board o <br /> Appeals decision, Attestation of Ownership, Letters from the <br /> Shellfish Warden and Harbormaster.
