Hoxie requested a continuance of this Meeting to March <br /> 18, 1998, which is their meeting date) for the purpose of <br /> providing the sandwich Board Members the opportunity to raise <br /> questions . <br /> i <br /> Mr.. Sherman clarified that Mr. Bliven is only contracted to <br /> appear at one Public Meeting, and that he is unable to commit Mr. <br /> Bliven to another Meeting date. <br /> The Chairman requested the Board Secretary provide a copy of <br /> the minutes of this Meeting to the Sandwich Conservation <br /> Commission. <br /> Mr. Halunen inquired as to the person authorized to regulate <br /> water 'l eves.s. <br /> Mr. Sherman responded that presently no one has the <br /> statutory authority to raise/lower water levels, with the <br /> exception of fish passage and cranberry growers ' water needs . <br /> He further explained that is the reason for such Public Hearings, <br /> whereby the Town will make a recommendation to be included within <br /> the order of Conditions . <br /> The Chairman entertained a motion be made in this matter. <br /> MOTION: Ralph Shaw made a Motion to continue the matter of <br /> Board of Selectmen- ashpee a eby Pond Levels to April 2, 1998, <br /> at 7 : 00 p.m. , s requested by Applicant; which lotion was <br /> seconded by John Johansen and so voted unanimously. (This matter <br /> concluded at p.m. ) <br /> 7 : 30 Jason Stone-47 Great oak Road, the Notice of Intent <br /> having been continued from December 4. 1997 . Nor. Sherman <br /> explained. the Applicant has requested a continuance to March 19, <br /> 1998 at p.m. for Jason Stone; 8 : so p.m. for stone/McElroy: <br /> and 9 : 00 .m. for william McElroy. Applicant has further <br /> requested the Commission take up no further business at this <br /> time.
