20 August 1998
Page 11.
Mr. Rosenberg asked if it had already been put in? It had not, paneling a
plan.
Mr. Sherman, Mr. Green and Mr. Rosenberg were comfortable with the plan.
Public comment: Atty. Snow asked how it differs from the original plan set
j forth to the Commission. Ms Ball showed the original plan with an overlay.
She staffed the difference is the pool is smaller, closer to the top of bank,
there are additional plantings for wildlife habitat lass, the French drain
adjusted as just discussed and the pool apron is bigger. They are before the
Commission to get approval for the generator and playhouse not in the
original proposal.
Atty. Snow asked if there is concern with the pool closer to the bank? Mr.
Sherman sated there is no concern for run-off with the proper system.
Atty. Snow asked if the Commission will inspect this prior to signing off'? Mr.
Green and Mr. Sherman will go out for a site inspection.
Dr. Shammash expressed concern for vegetation and trees on the property
compared to what was there before. The problem is this large object only 15'
their way. There is a hiatus of trees here. He showed photographs of the
property as it was prior to start of any work and of the new area. The steps
are now on the wall. When the deck was constructed, it was not in the
original plan whatsoever. All they want to do is to make sure they revegetate
the area. The playhouse is not a small thing; it is 10' high.
Mr. Sherman stated the Commission cannot adjudicate that.
Ms Ball agreed to add trees to the plan for screening.
I
VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close pending submission of a revised
pian. Unanimous Vote.
Ms Ball stated they will revise the plan for drainage for the pool apron and
trees added.
CLOSED PENDING.
9:20 THOMAS F. SMITH for construction of a garage and
landscaping/grading at 266 Monamoscoy Road. Mr. Smith was present.
Abutter notification receipts were provided.
