8 April 1999 <br /> Page 8. <br /> 7;55 DEBRA LEE QUIGLEY to convert an existing dwelling to a garage; <br /> construct a single family dwelling with garage and deck; install a- Title V <br /> septic system with Fast treatment system; install utility services and <br /> removal of an existing shed.. Dave Saniki presenting. He advised they are <br /> proposing to convert the garage for boat storage and a woodworking shop. <br /> There will be no sanitary facilities or living space in the garage. An <br /> agreementwas made with the Board of Health that there will be no habitable <br /> space in the garage in t he future. The house will be elevated. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated since P's decision has determined Great River was <br /> not a river, any references can be deleted. He stated there is a problem in <br /> that a previous owner routinely cut salt marsh in the area. It should b <br /> r allowed to grow back for a season to see if there are pockets of salt marsh and <br /> if so, the line would have to be redrawn. They cannot destroy salt marsh. <br /> Mr. Sani ki stated when it grows up, it is loaded with ticks. <br /> Mr. Quigley asked, what if his daughter goes out there and gets Lyme <br /> disease? <br /> Mr. Sherman stated it would have to be as he suggested or they will have to <br /> bring in a botanist. Mr. Quigley asked how much of an area? Mr. Sherman <br /> stated from the steps of the existing dock about 80 feet. He suggested he and <br /> Mr. Sanieki meet in the field and draw a lime. If after a year he is wrong, the <br /> lime can be redrawn. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close the hearing pending ident- <br /> ification of the restricted area and receipt of Board of Appeals <br /> decision. Unanimous Vote. <br /> CLOSED PENDING, <br /> 8:00 ROBERT ERKRAFT for a Determination of applicability on a request to <br /> remove an existing brick apron and pool equipment building, install new <br /> apron and pool equipment with fenced enclosure and refinish interior o <br /> existing pool at 24 I opponesset Island Road. Tony Ferragamo was present. <br /> The limit of work is 8 feet. Zoo s.f. of shrub plantings are proposed. It is <br /> noted on the plan as 3. They are replacing grass with concrete. <br /> Publiccomment: none. <br />
