Tune 1339
Page 12.
numbered flags for wetlands, coastal banks and lettered corners for houses,
no site visit will be done and there is an automatic 30 day postponement,
unless denied, and a $30 continuance fee will be charged.
VOTE: Motion made and seconded to adopt the policy as stated by the
Agent. Unanimous vote.
Cape & Islands: The building department issued a permit based on a plan
that did not show a lot being flood zone. They were asked to revise a plan
that was not based on NGVD. He apologized for having relied on a reap
prepared by the Popponesset Beach Association, It is done and it does show
the corner of the lot, but net the septic, in our jurisdiction. The .Agent asked
if they should be made to file`? It was agreed an RDA should be filed.
Quashnet Bags: The Commission has agreed to approve berm
revegetation. Originally, they were going to plant shrubs every 20 feet. It
was in the Order that this was subject to review. In conjunction with Steve
Hurley, it was agreed that there is no sense to putting shrubs every 20 feet o
the berm on the southern part of the bag where there is no trout habitat.
They are going to concentrate on the northern area where there is good
flowing water and will end up with shrubs even 5 feet or so and clustered in
ditch areas to stop ditch flowage.
The beginning of the re-injection testing was today and it is not working as
they thought it would. They are starting at 50 gallons per minute and will go
up to 150. The theory was that when re-injecting water it would mound
down and push up and water in the ditch turn colder but it turned warmer.
He will talk to Steve Furley tomorrow,
Mr. wollenhaupt stated it is the heat from the pump. The pump cannot keep
it cool.
Mr. Sherman advised he called Neff La leer of the Cape Col Cranberry
Growers Assoc, and he called Brian and asked that he be at a mooting. Mr.
Sherman wrote a letter for Bob whritenou 's signature that basically`says,
"Are you going to buy our berries, or not". The meeting the other clay was a
"Dog and Pony Show" and no commitment was made.
Mr. Rosenberg asked if anything has happened with the legislature? Mr.
Sherman was not aware of anything.
