They
must maintain the basin for the worst-case scenario. Continuing to stabilize the berm on K6 should
include putting blankets down as they go. Frank LeBlanc had assured that it would be done, but it has
not been accomplished yet.
7:45 NEW SEABURY PROPERTIES,TIES, nut be postponed due to Notice error.
V0'TE: Motion was made and seconded to con ince, due tO c il-CLI ristances beyond the Cot uuIssion's
control,to 12 August 1999 at :10 p.m. Unanimous vote. ;
uasluiet Bogs(continued): The auxiliary ditch oil the outside of ber•ni on the other-side of the Fiver of
TSG,which was going to be deepened because there wasn"t enough grading, should not be corrected to the
main river until a sedimentation basin is constructed and an inspection completed. This was accomplished.
The pumping stations went down during a recent storm and a few components burnt out. If this had
happened while the hag was flooded, we would have had a fish kill.
7:50 COTI_IIT GOLF DEVELOPMENT CO.must be postponed due to Notice error.
VOTE: Motion was nude and seconded to continue, due to circumstances beyond the ommission"s
control, to 12 August 1999 at 8:35 p.m. Unanimom vote.
7:55 ANDREW J.LIPNOSKY, must be postponed due to Notice error.
VOTE: motion was made and seconded to continue, due to circumstances beyond the Commission's
control,to 12 August 1999 at :00 p.m. Unanimous vote.
8:00 THOMAS NUTI L E continued from 15 July 1999 for bylaw cons ideration. Joe Harvey was present
on behalf of the owner. There are no changes in the plans. The property has been properly staked. This
lot on Edgewater Road exhibits quite a bit of topographical relief. The proposal is for a three bedroom
dwelling, septic system, driveway and private well. There are three resource areas starting closest to the
pond,BBw, flagged by Brad Hall. fiery erose to it,under the State definition, we have an inland bank.
Coming further to the top of the slope where the topography levels out we have an inland bank under the
Mashpee Bylaw that is the closest to the resource area. The dwelling would be within the 100 ft. buffer-to
the two State resources but within the resource area under the Town Bylaw. we are proposing that the
front and back of the house will be at grade;however, because of the slope we are proposing to put in a
wood retaining wall to contain any possible spillage from rain, etc. The septic system will be enhanced b
a I1 icrofast system coupled with a vertical separation from the bottom of that leaching area to the bottom
of the pond that will minimize the effect of the septic system on the wetlands. The roof runoff'will be
collected and directed to four drywells, thus eliminating any possible erosion from downspouts. The gravel
driveway will be semi-pervious. The septic system is less than 150 ft. from all of'the adjacent wells, but
the Board of Health has given a variance for as close as 102 ft. from the other wells.
Public comment: none.
VOTE: Motion nude and seconded to close the hearing. Unanimous vote. .
