It was recommended to down-grade the house. This has been <br /> done to give a larger buffer zone to the edge ofinland wetland. The width <br /> was shortened by -10'. The key to the whole submission is with reference to <br /> addressing the effects of the vernal pool. <br /> Dori Sehall stated he visited the site in early November. It is vernal pool <br /> habitat. It has been his experience is that the spotted salamanders show ars <br /> affinity and fidelity to migratory corridors that can be anywhere from 10 <br /> meters to 30 meters wide when they are in close to the vernal pool. what he <br /> has suggested in the douse design, the garage was originally impacting that <br /> one corridor that in his opinion is the primary corridor to the house, has been <br /> pushed a greater distance from the edge of the vegetated wetland and the <br /> garage has also been relocated. He has not recommended any reduction to <br /> the side property line because it is well vegetated and provides a vegetated <br /> screen and privacy for the neighbor.
