Mr. Sherman stated the matter should <br /> not be addressed at this Meeting. <br /> Mr. Fudala stated he is referring to a Town Meeting Article <br /> that would freeze the location of the proposed land. If <br /> approved, there would be no consideration for any alternative <br /> action. He clarified he is not inquiring about regulations or <br /> the actual petition to do the work, he is requesting Conservation <br /> Commission support that this matter not be addressed at the May <br /> Town Meeting. The purpose for which would be to allow time to <br /> consider alternative action. <br /> George Green aain .addressed the Chairman stating this <br /> matter to be another case of someone taking action on <br /> conservation land without first appearing before the conservation <br /> Commission for approval. If said land is in fact entrusted to <br /> the Conservation Commission, the Commission is expected to act as <br /> stewards of said land. <br /> N±. Sherman noted there is a current violation. He also <br /> stated that the Chairman of the Water District has made a. request <br /> to appear before the commission for a Hearing. A letter has been <br /> drafted in this regard, Old Business #1 on tonight ' s Agenda, <br /> informing the Tater District of proper procedure in this regard, <br /> and bringing to their attention the outstanding violation which <br /> has not yet been resolved. <br /> with regard to a decision in this matter, George Green <br /> recommended a decision to withdraw the proposed Article be made. <br /> He stated the Article should be postponed at Town Meeting due to <br /> the fact that the Commission has not had the opportunity to <br /> see/review the project; make a decision as to whether or not the <br /> pro*eot is viable. <br /> Mr. Green further stated the Commission should have been <br /> provided with specific 'Information in this matter prior~ to <br /> submitting an Article for the Town Meeting Tarrant which would <br /> prove to "lock info an area, Mr. Sherman concurred that the <br /> Conmission should have been provided with said information <br /> regarding this project. <br /> Mr. Fda a agreed that an action to remove the proposed <br /> Article from the Town Meeting Tarrant should be taken to provide <br /> an opportunity to workout an alternative proposal which could <br /> then be submitted for the October Town Meeting warrant . Mr. <br /> F'udala suggested the proposed location of the water line be <br /> placed in ars entirely different location. <br /> George Green stated there are, in his opinion, a number of <br /> alternative ways to install a water line in this matter with <br /> minimal disturbance to the property. <br /> The chairman recognized the following members of the public <br /> -4- <br />
