He further explained the purpose for <br /> appearing before the Commission is to obtain an amendment in <br /> order to landscape along the embankment area. <br /> Mr. Sherman stated he feels the planting plan which has been <br /> submitted is a good one; he asked about pruning pine trees at <br /> this time of the year. Mr. Ho ie stated some of the small pines <br /> along the base will be removed, there are also a few pitch pines <br /> that will be removed, none of the limbs of the mature pines will <br /> be pruned. <br /> Mr. Sherman suggested the removal of the pines be deferred <br /> to the fall in an attempt to discourage beetles that could be <br /> attracted to the scent of the sap. <br /> There being no public comment or further Commission <br /> discussion the Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Ralph Shaw made a Notion to accept the amendment <br /> 12- <br />
