30 March 2000 <br /> Page 4. <br /> Dermott O'Donnell asked if this would be in perpetuity. Ms Boretos stated it <br /> would be for three years. He asked if the work would be done at 6:00 a.m.? <br /> New Seabury agreed not to rake prior to 7:00 a.m. <br /> Jeremy Carter, Pine Avenue, asked how raking is going to impact this beach <br /> They are not cleaning in that area. He asked if leaving it undisturbed has an <br /> effect on the beach? Ms Boretos stated it may have a higher elevation over <br /> time and there may be more birds feeding there. <br /> Mr. Grotzke stated debris will be disposed of in a proper manner. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to close the hearing and issue an Order <br /> Of Conditions. Unanimous Vote. <br /> HEARING CLOSED. <br /> 7:40 THOMAS SMITH, 266 Monomoscoy Road, continued from 2 March <br /> 2000. Mr. Sherman told him he would be urging the Commission to <br /> continue. Peter Fletcher did some soil tests at this site. <br /> Ms Boretos stated there is a question as to whether the perc test is valid. It <br /> is being reperced. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to continue the hearing to 27 April at <br /> 7:05 p.m. unless not contacted in five days by the applicant accept- <br /> ing the continuance, at which point it would be a denial. <br /> Unanimous Vote. <br /> HEARING CONTINUED. <br /> 7:45 LAWRENCE HERMAN for a Determination of Applicability on a <br /> proposed deck, patio and plantings at 43 Uncatena Road. Anthony <br /> Ferragamo was present for Mr. Herman. A negative determination was <br /> received in 1996 to convert a screened porch into living room. The work is <br /> substantially completed, except for the deck. This Request is to replace the <br /> deck and put in a brick patio in the front. <br /> Ms Boretos suggested, for habitat, to introduce some red cedar, swamp <br /> maple, etc. Mr. Ferragamo would propose taking out the lawn area and <br /> putting in junipers. Ms Boretos recommended negative 2. <br /> 1. <br />
