30 March 2000 <br /> Page 6. <br /> 7:55 STEPHEN PATKIN for a Determination of Applicability on a deck <br /> removal, installation of patio, lawn, landscaping and irrigation system at 16 <br /> Cross Street. Robert Hoxie was present. The are taking out the deck and <br /> replacing it with blue stone. Photos were shown. Mr. Hoxie stated Mr. <br /> Patkin does not own the area where Ms Boretos asked that plants be placed. <br /> If put there, people will cut them down. <br /> Mr. Green suggested he go to his association re the plantings. <br /> Mr. Hoxie stated the lawn goes to the 32' mark. They are taking some of it <br /> out. There is no access to the beach. There is an association stairway three <br /> houses down. Mr. Patkin requested to move it up closer to the house. Ms <br /> Boretos asked how close? Mr. Hoxie stated they could move back and plant <br /> something that will not grow that tall. Ms Boretos would have no problem <br /> moving them back and would recommend negative with the trees provided. <br /> Mr. Hoxie showed photos of a house in the area to show the flavor of what <br /> they are trying to do. <br /> The Chair reiterated the proposal, two pitch pines and four red cedar trees to <br /> be planted closer. <br /> Mr. Sherman requested a letter of agreement from the Association. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to continue the hearing to 13 April 2000 <br /> At 8:10 p.m. Unanimous Vote. <br /> HEARING CONTINUED. <br /> 8:00 LEONID BERKOVICH for a Determination of Applicability on a <br /> request for maintenance in perpetuity on a licensed dock at 145 Popponesset <br /> Island Road. <br /> Public comment: none. <br /> VOTE: Motion made and seconded to find negative. Unanimous Vote. <br /> NEGATIVE DETERMINATION. <br />
