I February 2001
Page 5.
IVIS Boretos advised she has a problem with additional loss of coastal
bank habitat with the expanding deck; it is twice the size. This site has
difficulty meeting the setback. With the new additions, there should be
good faith effort to pull this back.
Mr. Talbot stated it hangs out over the coastal embankment further- than
any neighbors. He suggested pulling the addition back.
The Chair noted it is 25' to the existing deck. Mr. Bierman stated they
should not be going into the 50' if there is an alternative. There is n
reason to permit this and compelling reasons not to.
Mr. Sla ins y stated the deck is unnecessary. He asked for a
continuance and will try to get rid of the deck.
Mr. Sherman asked if the additions are an increase in bedroom Mr.
Slavinsky stated no; he will 'submit architectural plans. It is three
bedrooms. Mr. Sherman stated he will verify this. The Board of Appeals
issue to be clarified.
Public comment: none.
VOTE: Motion made and seconded to continue the hearing at the
request of the applicant to 15 February 2001 at 7:45 p.m.
Unanimous Vote.
HEARING CONTINUED.
CCC Hearing; Hearing to be held on 12 February at 7:00 p.m. here at
Town Hall.
