this Matter to Tune 21, tool at 7 : 35 p.m. at Applicant ' s request; <br /> which Motion was seconded by Carole Moore and so voted <br /> unanimously. <br /> 7: 55 Jeffrey Ismer, 128 Shore Drive west, continued from may <br /> Diane Boretos reported Applicant has requested a <br /> continuance, BSC is investigating the possibility of the proposed <br /> project becoming a community action, a stepwy on an eroding bank <br /> leading to a dune which could be removed during a storm -event. <br /> MOTION. Michael Talbot made a Motion to continue the <br /> Hearing in this Matter to June 211 01 ' t 7 :'10 p.m. at <br /> Applicant ' s request; which Motion was seconded by Ralph Shaw and <br /> so voted unanimously. <br /> At this point of the Meeting Diane Boretos informed the <br /> Chairman of the presence of a representative. from the Department <br /> of Fish and wildlife Law Enforcement who is requesting a <br /> Vote/Signature from the Commission for conservation restriction. <br /> The propetr location is Route 151 Quasnet River- which the Town <br /> plans to purchasepon receipt of- Fifty Thousand ($50, 000 . 0o) ' <br /> Dollars from the State. <br /> The Chairman requested an explanation of restrictions, <br /> recogni ing Joan Pearson, Massachusetts Fish and Wildlife <br /> Southeast District . She provided background information <br /> explaining the lengthy processj oirit effort on behalf of orenda <br /> Wildlife Frust, the Town of Mashpee, and Massachusetts Fish and <br /> wildlife. <br /> Mr. Sherman expressed support of the purchase of this land <br /> which could be reconverted to use as cranberry bogs . <br /> Status: Orenda wildlife Trust has acquired both parcels of <br /> the Dawson property with the intention that Fish and wildlife <br /> would acquire a conser vation restriction on the southern portion <br /> (approximately fourteen acres) , after which-' the Town of Mashpee <br /> would acquire funding. ownership of the northern portion shall <br /> be retained by or'enda wildlife Trust . <br /> The Chairman entertained a motion for approval . <br /> MOTION: Michael Talbot made a Motion to approve the <br /> conservation restriction - and for signature thereof; which Motion <br /> was seconded bar Elliot Rosenberg and s voted unani ously. <br /> oo Mark Urnee, , 2 Little Neck Lane, continued from May <br /> 241 tool .
