replaced with a mixed planting of native vegetation. <br /> 4 - References were being made to the edge/lawn area and an <br /> area slightly north which is currently lawn and which the <br /> Applicant would Like to remove and replace with native <br /> vegetation. Also, an area to the south which would be <br /> transformed lawn area to native vegetation. <br /> # - Request to enhance the plantings along the edge of the <br /> driveway, in conjunction with his neighbor, in order to provide <br /> privacy where plantings are sparse along the property line. <br /> # - Request for foundation plantings around the cottage. <br /> (All of which has been discussed with the Assistant Agent, who <br /> has not expressed any concerns. ) <br /> The Assistant Agent has suggested Mr. Ferragamo discuss the <br /> matter of the patio beneath the picnic table with the Commission. <br /> Mr. Sherman informed the Commission of one recommendation <br /> made by the Assistant Agent in this matter, some native shrubs <br /> seaward of the patio to provide a visual buffer. (Said <br /> recommendation has not been discussed directly with Mr. <br /> Ferragamo. ) <br /> Mr. Ferragamo agreed to the planting of three 3 five <br /> gallon native red cedars, in addition to the shrubbery, along <br /> the southwest wood bulkhead. <br /> The Commission recognized the great effort made by the <br /> Applicant in this matter, commenting upon the excellence of Mr. <br /> Ferragamo f s plan and presentation; and that if the recommendation <br /> for visual buffer~ had not been discussed prior to the Hearing, <br /> Applicant should not be held responsible if in fact, there is an <br /> confusion in this regard. <br /> There being no further Commission or public comment, the <br /> Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Ralph Shaw rade a motion for Negative <br /> Determination.; which Motion was seconded by Carole Moore and so <br /> voted unanimously. <br /> -7:40 Edwin N. Sidman to amend the order of Conditions for <br /> SE 43-1726 for a pool addition, patio, walkway, lawn and planting <br /> areas at 5 Mute Swan Circle, Assessors Map 84, Block 17 18 and <br /> 1. <br /> The Chairman recognized Peter Sullivan, Sullivan <br /> Engineering, osterville, Mei, representing Applicant. <br /> Mr. Sullivan stated he has maintained the existing wort <br /> limit on the original approval, development is within the one <br /> -9- <br />
