Mr. Sa3 icki expressed doubt as to whether <br /> r not It is truly coastal bank as It does not function as <br /> coastal. bank. <br /> Mr. Sherman respectfully disagreed With the previous speaker <br /> stating he had reviewed the Regulations and the Coastal Bank <br /> Delineation Folic. According to the policy guidance on <br /> interpreting coastal banks, if an area is within the flood zone <br /> and meets certain slope requisite, it is considered to be a <br /> coastal hank. <br /> Mr. Sanicki expressed his understanding/acceptance. <br /> LL For the purpose of consistency, 1r. Sherman requested the <br /> area be marked as coastal bank. He stated this should have n <br /> effect on the plan/proposal, there remains significant distance <br /> to the wetland. <br /> Mr. Sanicki made reference to the fifty foot buffer strip <br /> inland of the BVW. A work limit is being proposed, as well as a <br /> silt fence. <br /> Mr. Sherman noted the relativel.y small amount of disturbed <br /> forest upland as a portion of the house is located within an <br /> existing lawn and path area. He recommended approval <br /> explaining denitrification is not required as the parcel is over <br /> an acre with less than five parts per million nitrogen. <br /> There being no Commission or public comment, the Chairman <br /> entertained a motion. <br />
