lo . mr,r Sherman reported severe ATV problems hQuashnet <br /> Bog, Conservation Lands along Meetinghouse Road, and Town-owned <br /> land along Serra unit. He has accompanied the Environmental <br /> Police on a tour of these areas . There will be a meeting on <br /> Tuesday, next week, with Joyce Mason, a representative of the <br /> Police Department, and Mr. Sherman in an attempt to devise a <br /> deterrent. <br /> At this point Carole Moore reported illegal dumping of <br /> windows, mattresses, and hazardous materials onto Conservation <br /> Lands (Armor Brown Road) ; making the Conservation Commission <br /> responsible for the clean-u . She suggested some thought be put <br /> into a resolution of some kind gates, fines, etc. ) . <br /> The Assistant Agent volunteered to inquire of DPS` for clear <br /> up. <br /> 7 :40 Joel Broudy, 202 Rock Landing Road, continued from <br /> January 17, 2002 . NOI <br /> Mr. Sherman reported Applicant has requested a continuance <br /> in order to provide a revised Plan indicating the resource areas. <br /> There being no Commission or public comment, the Chairman <br /> entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Carole Moore made a Motion to continue the Hearing <br /> in this matter to February 14, 2002 at p.m. , at Applicant ' s <br /> request; which lotion was seconded by Michael Talbot and so voted <br /> unanimously. <br /> 11. other - The Chairman inquired as to the status of the <br /> Benway matter. Mr. Sherman responded there is an article in <br /> today' s paper, which he has not fret read. It has come to Mr. <br /> Sherman' s attention that said article portrays the Conservation <br /> Conmission as an over worked Board doing their very best. The <br /> article makes reference to false information having been <br /> presented and illegal activities conducted with regard to signing <br /> Deeds and so forth. <br /> There was some discussion regarding the procedure for <br /> retaining certain records. <br /> 7 :45 Janice Rook, Determination of Applicability to <br /> construct an addition to include ars interior room and a screened <br /> porch at 32 Bearse Road, Assessors Map 117, Block 325 . <br /> The Chairman recognized the Applicant to be present, <br /> +1r. Sherman explained the property is a land locked lot, the <br /> architectural plans indicate there is no increase in bedroom <br /> space; the project is no where near the water; he recommended <br /> approva l . <br /> -8- <br />
