. Sale of 56 Wakeby Road. Bob said we accepted a plan which in retrospect he
wished we had not, because it was not well done. It was something that we wanted to
get therm to do quickly before the erosion situation got worse. The house has now been
sold, and Bob is concerned about our ability to follow through and correct this erosion
problem. He said there would be nothing wrong for us to notify the realtor to'notify the
neer owner about this existing problem, and Bob recommended a vote to authorize hire
to do that.
Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to authorize the Agent to notify the
realtor to notify the new owner of 56 Wakeby road about the need to address the
erosion problem on the property.
. Harry Desrosiers. Regarding the land the Commission donated in memory of Harry
Desrosiers and money raised by his friends erre relatives for sprucing up the parking
area, Bob reported that Torn Jalowy was retained by Marilyn Desrosiers, his widow, to
do the work. Bob recommended approval of the plan.
Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried to approve the plan.
6. Temp for Pauline. Bob is trying to have Diana come back for this
period and he requested a vote to retain her as a consultant and pay her at her
previous hourly pay.
Motion rade, seconded and unanimously carried to retain Diana Lund for the period
that Pauline is on sick leave and pay her at her previous hourly pay.
. They are uncertain whether it was vandalism or due to
rodent (mice) infestation This is a big problem because they build nests there which
could cause sparking. That could have been enough to melt some wiring, which could
be enough to cause the combustible wood to start on fire.
Their recommendations are to install surge protectors, grounding systems, fire
protections systems, a strobe light on the building (the Fire Department had a hard time
finding the building), a protective meter cover for the rodent infestation and seal
everything to prevent vandalism, and provide some fencing. He believes that they
have or ill confer with the Commission regarding the fencing. The system start-up
date is October 2003. All the wells and piping have to be installed, and the treatment
system has to be built.
In the meantime the Air Force is monitoring the surface water and the tonic level is well
below any human health or ecological risk. This is consistent with what Jacobs
