The Agent explained that due to the pending litigation he recommended approving the <br /> continuance but that he would also have a discussion with the applicant and his representation to see if <br /> they want to withdraw the application until the other matters are resolved. The Commission agreed dine to <br /> the extenuating circumstances that the matter could be Continued. <br /> Motion made, seconded and unanimously carved for a continuance until September 4, 20089 @ 7 p.m. <br /> 7:03 p.m. Dennis Kerkado, AOC—6 Quaker Run Road <br /> Nista pruning with maintenance in perpetuity) <br /> Brian Casey of Casey Landscape and Arboriculture stood to represent the applicant. Mr. Casey <br /> explained that the applicant wishes to establish two corridors for vista pruning and maintenance in <br /> perpetuity. The Agent further explained that the previously approved project (Approved November 14, <br /> 2007,) allows for the creation of two vista-pruning corridors. He went on to further explain that normally <br /> two corridors would not be approved, but on this property establishing two corridors cuts down on the <br /> environmental impact. The Agent informed the commission that he would be on site again to clarify with <br /> IIIb. She cited that-the N otice of%Intent was.previously approved in <br /> 1392 and that they had done the dock improvements listed within it but did not do the revetment portion. <br /> She explained that they wish to do the.revetment portion now as it is becoming more and more necessary. <br /> due to the increasing erosion.'Mr . Mandalos'believes it is the ever-ekpand i ng boat traffic in the area that <br /> is causing the erosion. Mrs.. Mand los then explained that they also wish to expand the kitchen 4#-x 13' <br /> over the existing deck area and that it will require an additional 3 sono tubes to be installed. The <br /> expansion will not call for an increase in thie deck footprint. The Agent did agree with Mrs. ll andalos that <br /> he feels the increased wave energy is the mason for the erosion. He explained that there is definitely <br /> need to protect the salt marsh in the area but wants.a construction methodology for the revetment. The <br /> Agent explained that he saw no issue with the kitchen expansion as it is going onto existing deck. The <br /> applicant asked that the commission approve the kitchen portion then, and they will bring back a <br /> consultant for the revetment portion.
