Motion made, seconded and unanimously carried for a continuance until 0510112008 7:1 p.m. <br /> 7:15 p.m,Joh n Donnellan, RDA—69 Pond circle(Stairs to dock) <br /> John Donnellan, the applicant shad to describe his request. He explained that he would like to Install <br /> stairs leading down to his dock. Mr. Donnellan further explained that there is no vegetation in the area; it <br /> is just a dirt/sand mixture. The Agent agreed that the project will not call for removal of any vegetation. <br /> He explained to the Commission that the platform was previously approved and that stairs were needed <br /> to access it. The Agent did recommend to Mr. Donnellan that he plant some mitigative plantings in the <br /> area around the stairs after construction. He offered to provide the list to Mr. Donnellan as well. Mr. <br /> Donnellan agreed and stated that he did want to plant in the area and would be,in to speak to the Agent <br /> about the proper types of plantings for the area. <br /> Motion n crude,seconded and unanimously carried for a Legative Determination. <br /> 7:19 p.m. Mic1hael Hoar, RDA—76&82 Greensward (Landscaping) <br /> (continued from 03/20/2008, previously under Michael O'Hara and Joseph Levy) <br /> Torn Jalowy stood to represent the applicant. He explained that the property had been purchased by Mr. <br /> Hoar from Mr. O'Hara. Mr. Jalowy was called in after the fact to create a landscape plan for between the <br /> two properties. The Agent explained that he had been called by an employee of.New Sea6ury properties <br /> and told that there were landscapers stripping the area between the properties. The Agent also explained <br /> that there was no permit and he went on site and issued a stop work order. There was grape gine <br /> stripped from the area prior to the Agent getting there. The hearing has been continued several times to <br /> make sure the landscape plan is acceptable to all parties. Mr. Jalowy explained the area is isolated, <br /> subject to flooding but that his plan calls for the addition of not only.aesthetic plantings but also some that <br /> will help further stabilize the area. The plan includes such stabili bis as High Bush Blueberry and other <br /> kinds of berry bushes. Not only will they help stabilize the area but also have sbrne wildlife habitat valine <br /> by attracting many types of birds. The Agent stated that Mr. Jalowy had done ars excellent job on the plan <br /> and he recommended approval. <br /> Lotion made, seconded and carried for a Negative Determination. <br /> 7:21 p.m. Peter eostill, N01 37 I lonomosc y west(Boathouse, ramp,deck, driveway, utilities <br /> .John Sla insky of cape and islands-Engin ring stood to represent the applicant. Mr. slavinsky <br /> explained that the boat house proposed is going to be moved back and corrected puns Will need to b <br /> filed so they need to request a continuance. The Agent informed Mr. Sla insl y that he had clone some <br /> research and Natural Heritage will need to be filed with for this application. <br /> Motion made,seconded and unanimously carried for a continuance until 05/01/2098 a@ 7:21 p.m. <br /> 7: p.m. Robert Kelly, N01—57 Redwood circle (Path, stairs, platform, ramp,float) <br /> (continued from 04/03/2008) <br /> David French of Chris costa and Associates stood to represent the applicant. He explained that the <br /> applicant was withdravwring the 1 OA float, ramp and platform from this application. He also explained that <br /> they were relocating the project to '120'from the bank of the Mashpee Kiger.The Agent explained that the <br /> applicant has stone a painstaking job of avoiding the removal of vegetation. He farther explained that <br /> Natural Heritage had some.concerns but he felt they had misread the plan. The Agent explained that the <br /> 1 O float was not part of the purview of Conservation. The commission asked if the items being <br /> withdrawn called for a new application,the Agent stated that it did not call for a new application it would <br /> just require the old one be modified.
