Murphy as the laccommunication between <br /> I f <br /> this Board and the O.P.W. regarding the Landfill rules and regulations and <br /> the manifest requested by Mr. Virgilio for the packers is unduly warranted. <br /> Mr. Costa stated this Board does not want the hours for the landfill than d <br /> unless the public and this Board is notified and commented to Mr. Murphy <br /> that if he disagrees with this then to whom should complaints be directed to. <br /> Mr. Murphy responded that by statute this Board maintains it regulatory <br /> control however it has not been decided whether this Board maintains an opera- <br /> tion <br /> p ra-tion control. <br /> . Murphy suggested a meeting with Mr. Virgi 1 io, the- SeIeotmen, himseIf <br /> and this Board to discuss the -r .les, regulations and operation a l control of <br /> the landfill . <br /> i l l . <br /> APPOINTMENT :30 - Ernie Virgilio <br /> i <br /> Mr, Virgilio- was not in attenydane for this meeting, <br /> APPOINTMENT 3:30 - George Heufe l der regarding Dick & E l l i e's flea market <br /> Mr. Heufe 1 der discussed with the Board items not to be sold at the flea <br /> market, He stated filter systems for water are not allowed a well as damaged <br /> cans and commented in consulting with the Food and Drug adminst-ration per-sonel <br /> iters that contact the body are allowed as long as they are packaged properly <br /> however recom'mends that these items -are not allowed at the flea market due to <br /> the fact that th4 vendors cannot#be traced. Mr. Heufe l der; stated one solution <br /> would be for every person selling food items to retain a food service estal I sh- <br /> ent permit or proper license from this Board. <br /> Mr. Heutfelder commented that hone grown iters are allowed by the State <br /> and he is in agreeanee with them and stated he recommends that Vendors within <br /> the flea market not be allowed to sell packaged damaged food or drug items with <br /> the exception of hone grown produce. S <br /> Mr. McQuaid suggested the Board of Appeals special permit for Dick <br /> Ellie's be modified stipulating that the Vendors retain food service permits <br /> or stipulate no food iters other than home grown be sold inside the flea <br /> market nor packaged damaged foods or drug items. . <br /> Mr. Heufe l der informed the Board that all food items sold, under State <br /> regulations, rust be licensed by the local Board of Health. <br /> Mr. Qua i d stated he would 1 i- e to inspect the flea -market rid .report <br /> to lir. Heufelder his findings. <br /> APPOINTMENT 4:00 - Vincent K. Lai i regarding China Gardens <br /> Mr. Costas informed Mr. Lai that he and his help have not cooperated <br /> with the Health Agents that have inspected his premises and commented that <br /> perhaps he does not understand the requirements that are mandated by this <br /> Board, <br />
