MINUTES July 11 , 1988 4 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> Mr. Lai explained to the Board that one of the concerns of the agents <br /> was food hanging up to dry and stated he informed his employees it was not <br /> allowed but was to- be put in the trash not to be taken horse. <br /> County Health Agent, Natalie lead i s was in attendance, as well as, the <br /> assistant health agent of fashpee Laura Graves, both of whoa inspected the <br /> premises on different occasions. Ms. Graves informed Mr. Lai that the rice <br /> in the vats is left out for long periods of time and according to the State <br /> regulations it must t be refrigerated immediately, she stated Mr. Lai informed <br /> Ids. Graves that if the rice is refrigerated it becomes lumpy and sticks toge- <br /> ther, Ms. Graves explained to Mr. Lai that his procedures for cooking do <br /> not meet State codes. <br /> Nor. Greelish suggested to Mr. Lai that smaller quantities be put i <br /> the hold. <br /> Mr. Costa explained to Mr. Lai that five inspections have taken place <br /> t his- place of business and none of the complaints have been corrected. <br /> Mr. Costa informed Mr. Lai that if these o mplai is have not been corrected <br /> then a. report will be forwarded to the state. <br /> Mr. McQuaid explained to Mr, Lai the temperature danger zones for food <br /> left out <br /> Mr. Costa stated to Mr. Lai that the health agents will answer any. ques- <br /> tions or forward their suggestion's to hire and commented to him that he rust <br /> train his employees of the correct food refrigeration procedures. fir. Costa <br /> informed Mr. Lai that the health agents will return for inspection ire two <br /> weeks <br /> Ms, Graves informed Mr. Lai that the rear door rust be repaired so that <br /> it closes properly and stated that is the reason for the large amount of flies. <br /> Ms. Graves informed Mr, Lai that another serious problem i.s the placing of <br /> towels over the food and suggested Mr. Lai cover all food with saran wrap. <br /> Ms, Kad i s commented to Mr. Lai that smoking ng over any food is prohibited <br /> and suggest he inform his employees of this. <br /> 9, ) Contract - Visiting nurses association for fiscal year 1989 $17,200.00 - <br /> The Board was in agreeance with the contract and forwarded theirsigna- <br /> tures to the contract. <br /> J <br /> 10. Copy - Massage regulations and license application from Michael Coronella <br /> . McQuaid suggested the Board review the present regulations and forward <br /> their suggestions or recommendations for revisal ., <br /> Mr, Gree l i sh stated that the regulations are interpreted to read that any <br /> person engaging in the practice of massage must operate out of a licensed <br /> establishment and further commented that a masseuse, license- M-'ay be obta i td <br /> however he/she rust operate out of a licensed establishment. <br /> 1r. Costa requested the applicant attend the next meeting to discuss the <br /> massage regulations, the Board was in agreeance. <br />
