MINUTES November 1 , 1988 3 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> Mr. McQuaid,uaid, informed Dr. Famous that once the system is removed that <br /> he will be required to' c l can out the -pit and fill it with sand. <br /> Dr. Fanous stated he would agree to allow fir. Barr and/or installer. <br /> to enter his property for the purose of removing the system. <br /> APPOINTMENT: R. Raymond and John Taylor re: Mashpee Motel <br /> Mr, Robert Raymond, Engineer, and Mr. john Taylor,, owner, were in attend- <br /> ance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> . Taylor informed the Board that each room in the proposed motel -will _-consist <br /> of one room 400 square feet in size r i th one bed and a pull out sofa. <br /> Mr. Costa explained to Mr. Tay.lor that figures for gallonage,, based on <br /> two persons is 1.10 gallons per room and commen-ted that throe persons per room <br /> would exceed proposed gallonage. <br /> Mr. Taylor informed the Board that total combined seating for the res <br /> taurant and .meeting room will not exceed 100 persons. <br /> Mr. Costa requested maximum capacity of the motel not to exceed 140 -persons - <br /> and informed Mr. Taylor that -he two washing machines to be installed at the <br /> complex have not been incorporated into the total gallonage and requested Mr. <br /> Raymond to submit revised plans designating the increased gallonage for ,the i <br /> laundry room. Mr. costa stated this Board is in ag reean ce with the decision <br /> rendered by the Board of Appeals and with the maximum capacity for the motel <br /> of 140 persons, approval of plans will be withheld until such time as revised <br /> plans are submitted as requested. <br /> Mr. McQuaid requested the Board consider a stipulation 'in their final <br /> approval that the developer be required to hook-up to the treatment plant once <br /> it becomes aV ilable. <br /> 12. ) of plans, Reliance corp, , aka. McQuaid informed the" Boar�d that the proposed system does not meet <br /> Town or State requirements under lit 1 e' v regulations and explained that the <br /> existing well n--site is 75 feet from the proposed leaching, the -abutting <br /> well to the north is-90 feet away and from the south is 84 feet away. Mr. <br /> McQuaid id commented that a Variance from town regulations is r qu i red,. s they <br /> propose a 1000 gallon tank not the 1500 gallon tank as required. <br /> Z y <br /> Attorney Grosser stated he has in his possession the green receipt cards <br /> from all but two abutters however the notification of the continuance for this <br /> meetings receipt cards were left at his office in error. <br />
