MINUTES January 2 , 1990 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> deposit in the amount of $2 ,500.00 as satisfactory completion <br /> of the requirements by this Board for the issuance of 10 oc <br /> cupancy permits for the development known as "Southport" , Mr. <br /> Greelish seconded. <br /> IV <br /> Mr. Bonvi questioned Board members as to what procedure <br /> he must follow for subsequent occupancy permits. <br /> Mr, McQuaid responded, prior to the request of the elev- <br /> enth occupancy permit this Board. will require a contract with. <br /> licensed installer stating the fee required to connect pip- <br /> ng from the holding tank to the leaching field. <br /> APPOINTMENT; Detective Brad Fish - Proposed firing range <br /> Detective Fish was in attendance for this scheduled ap- <br /> pointment. <br /> Mr. Doherty stated he has reviewed plans for the land- <br /> fill and has determined the western edge as the most feasible <br /> location however Weston & Sampson have designated that site <br /> as a possible drainage area once the landfill has been <br /> capped. <br /> Mr, Oreelish, commented there are alternative locations <br /> for the drainage area.. <br /> Mr. Doherty was in agr eance with Mr. reelish' sugges-- <br /> tion. <br /> ecte tive Fish exlained the proposed range would be 2 <br /> yards in width and 50 yards in length, The nearest dwelling <br /> is 600 feet away. Selectmen have approved of the location. <br /> Nor. Greelish suggested consulting with Weston & Sampson <br /> as to an alternative location for the drainage. <br /> Det e' t i ve Fish *n o r ned the Board approximately 80% o <br /> the training takes place during the night, Mr. Virgilio is <br /> proposing to fence the area and will straighten road access. <br /> Generators will be utilized a lighting. <br /> .r. McQuaid voiced his concern with security in the <br /> area. <br /> Mr. Greelish indicated access must be protected from the <br /> street, remaining issues will addressed at a later date. <br />
