Upon researching fees for <br /> commercial pick-up it was learned costs for the school year, <br /> three pick-ups per week, will total between $8,000. 00 and <br /> $12 , 000 ,00 . <br /> Mr, Greelish commented approximately three to four tons <br /> are disposed of monthly. <br /> Mr. costa informed Dr. Deoura this is an issue between <br /> the school and -the contractor, <br /> Mr. McQuaid explained no other town municipality is uti- <br /> lizing the Transfer Station with exception of the D.P.W. as <br /> they coo collect roadside dumping. It was agreed that any mu- <br /> nicipal departments disposing of trash at the TransferSta- <br /> tion prior to the conti�actual agreement with Mr, DiMaggio <br /> would continue to do so. <br /> Mr. Creel i sh commented costs determined by Dr. Del ra, <br /> ($4,000,00) does not include a vehicle and man power. In the <br /> discussion with Dr. DeMoura it was relayed there was no cost <br /> advantage, and presents an on going problem with contract <br /> . negotiations. School use of the Transfer station will ulti- <br /> mately cost the town money. It was erroneously perceived <br /> that this Board was authorizing payment to it. DiMaggio. <br /> Mr . Greel i sh stated the existing agreement between Mr, <br /> Dilaggio and the School Department, to utilize the Transfer <br /> Station, will be terminated at the end of this school year. <br /> i <br />
