MINUTES July 27, 1989 4 BOARD of HEALTH <br /> Mr. Scipione stated lie has put together an electricla pian which has <br /> been submitted to a couple of electrical contractors. <br /> Mr. Scipione informed the Board the holding basin will be lined wi-th <br /> P.U.G. , this material was left over from the Transfer Station./ <br /> OIL COLLECTION - Weston & Sampson <br /> Mr. Greelish informed Mr, Scipione and Cir. Hanlon that a 27115 gallon tank <br /> has been placed at the site however a concret retaining wall must be installed <br /> around it, Mr. Greelish stated two 55 gallon tank drums will be plated beside <br /> the 275 gallon 'tank for anti-freeze. <br /> Mr. Scipione stated they will have most equipment on site by August 1 , <br /> 1989. <br /> Mr. Hanlon stated there is a problem with the financing for the pilot <br /> study a 'the November town meeting of 1988 did not appropriate enough funds F <br /> to complete the study and commented an additional $25,000.00 is required. <br /> Mr. Hanlon stated he is Onsure as to when the State monies wiii become avail- <br /> able <br /> vail- <br /> able and recommended an additional appropriation be requested at the next <br /> upcoming special town meeting. <br /> Mr. McQuaid requested Mr. Hanlon to provide a letter in writing stating <br /> the exact amount equ i red. <br /> PHASE III CONTRACT - files-ton & Sampson <br /> Mr. McQuaid informed the Board Keston & Sampson have submitted the con- <br /> tract for Phase III , a copy of which has been forwarded to Town Counsel for <br /> review. <br /> Board members in attendance forwarded their signatures to the Prase III <br /> Hydrogeological Study. <br /> Mr. Greelish requested Mr, Hanlon and Mr. S i p lone research possible <br /> funds that would be available to pay for later Quality -Mapping analysis, <br /> equipment, etc. <br /> Mr. Hanlon stated lie would research grant monies available. <br /> rr { <br /> WASTE G I L GGLLEGTION {-i WSampsonton & Sam � <br /> r <br /> �i k <br /> r <br /> Mr. McQuaid questioned Mr. Greelish as to whether Weston, & ampson's <br /> services would-Abe- required for~ 'the; Waste Oil Collection'- program. <br /> 1 . Greelish stated the Board is under the impression there is a state <br /> regulation which prohibits the installation of a domestic well within 400 feet <br /> of a lagoon. <br />
