Hanlon com ented tfia,t-Weston Sampson was !s asked at one- <br /> point, <br /> nepoirnt, to classify tine building and stated it is not Weston & Sampson' s <br /> responsbility, <br /> 1 <br /> Mr. Gree l i sh stated this Board has determined -that the Building Dept. <br /> is reponsible for classifying the Transfer Station Bldg, and requested Mr. <br /> McQuaid uaid t -forward -a letter to the building department informing there of <br /> this Board' s decision. <br /> R <br /> APPOINTMENT: Mr. Lopez - Recycling <br /> Mr. Lopez was in attendance for this scheduled appointment. <br /> Mr. Lopez informed the Board, as his building will not be completed until <br /> December ber he.� ill be unable to accept recyclable items unci i its -completion. . <br /> Mr. -Lopez stated once- Ois once- isoperation is on-line he will accept cardboard, news- <br /> paper, <br /> e+ws- <br /> paperx, g1 ass,- meta,l s and white goods. <br /> Mr. Lo-pez stated glass. pic-up once a month would pa, $130.00 per ton , <br /> giass p i cls-up once week would pay $40.00 per ton, more then once pick-up <br /> per week would pay $48.00 per -ton, Mr. Lopez explained bin rental is free <br /> for -the first two months. <br /> Mr. Lope stated he has been permitted - o handle munincipa,l solid waste <br /> however . is limited ,to 1800 -tons and commented he will new accept meta-1s, white <br /> goods and glass. <br /> Mr.,, Greelish informed Mr. Lopez there was a- meeting with the surround- <br /> ing towns to discuss bulk so that there .is enough waste to handle. Mr. <br /> Creel i sh stated there are two options, one is for the county to runan M.R.R. <br /> the other is as to accumulate bulk fror, the various towns .and harndie it that <br /> wary. . ' r. ' Lopez that this Board would research his <br /> operations prior to rendering a decision, <br /> Mr. Creel i sh stated recycling efforts would mandate community involve- <br /> ment, <br /> .
