MINUTES August 10, 1989 4 BOARD OF HEALTH Mr. Costa questioned Mr. McQuaid as to whether approval must be obtained from D.E.Q.E# . Mr. McQuaid re po.nded an application form, for -muni c i p l waste oil collec- tion must be filed with D.E.C .E. . Pyr. Greelish stated the contractor will be required to inspect the oil prior to disposal into the tank. Mr. Costa motioned to accept drawings and 'spec i f i c at i n presented by r fir. Doherty stepped down from this vote as he found this to be a conflict of interest. Letter' from Dr, DeMoura re: Request to use Transfer Station on Thursdays - r. .Gree ish explained to Board 'Members that he did, discuss this matter with Dr. DeMoura at which time it -was emphasized that- it is a matter of sitecontrol -and the contractor does have 'the right to protect his equip- ment, Mr. Greelish stated he did suggest to Dr. DeMoura that he work out another method of disposal . Board members were in a reeance. Mr. Costa requested Mri McQuaid to forward a memo to Dr. DeMoura in-form- ing n-f rm- ing him of this Board's decision not to issue a 'fey, for access to the landfill , on Thursd r . 19. Memo from Personnel Board re: Course approval - The Board acknowledged receiving the memo. 20. Perc extension request from Multivest - Mr. McQuaid uaid informed the Board year perc extension was' previously granted and commented more then half of the lots have high- ground water elevation ranging from 61 to 8' . Mr. Greet ish requested Mr. McQuaid 'to test the ground water elevation at the site and report back to the Board with his results. 1 .)
