 7
Mr. Doherty then asked for clarification of the plans in front of him due to the
lack of a street number. Mr. Harrington provided him with a separate set of plans
from the master file.
Mr. Harrington continued by stating that the Conservation Commission required
an L A. system.
Ms. warden thea asked ed Mr. Harnington if the BOH had already granted this
variance. She stated that she was a bit lost and wasn't sure which one this was.
Mr. Harrington replied that the BOH had not.granted the variance for the I. A.
system. That was why it was on the agenda.
Mr. Ball stated that they took the total square footage-of 1.4 square acres. Mr.
Ball asked how many bedrooms they were proposing.
Mr. Harrington replied that this wasn't in Zone II. The
denitrification has not been.
Mr. Doherty continued that they were just going to remove the tank, put in a.new
one with a Microfast system and cover it all back p. So the existing leaching isn't
then part of the pre approval.
Mr. Harrington confirmed that that was correct. If the engineer- has waited and
not installed that leaching. He could have made that leaehmi g smaller and gotten
credits for the I. A. system. He went in and installed this for the full six bedrooms.
Money is paramount to hire so he is a little upset that he went ahead and diel
that. He could have gotten away with four bedrooms.
Ms. warden was having a secondary conversation with Mr. Ball while Mr. Doherty
and Mr. Harrington were discussing the above information.
Ms, warden stated that they sent a letter- to Conservation stating that the garage
is going to be used as an apartment. The system hasn't been approved for the
