garage. Mr. Hinds, the homeowner, went before Conservation. She put a notation
on the Conservation's agenda that the BOH had no idea ghat the existing system
in this garage is turning into because there is nothing on file. Can the existing
stem accommodate this garage? In the meantime, Mr. Harrington must have
received plans because that is what Conservation has on the agenda. Ms. warden
finished her conversation with Mr. Ball and turned the conversation to Mr.
Harrington. She asked Mr. Harrington if he had seem her comments on the Con
Comm's agenda. She asked where the system was tied into because she did not
have this information. She asked if the existing system could accomodate the
garage with six bedrooms including the garage.
Mr. Harrington confirmed that there were four in the main house and two in the
garage. The leaching tren h could do it right noir without the 1. A. system. But,
with the 1. A. system there shouldn't be a problem.
Its. warden stated that she needed to excuse herself from the Boli meeting to
discuss this new information with Bob Sherman, head of Conservation, at their
meeting being held across the hall. She didn't have this information at the time
she was reviewing their agenda.
Mr. Ball asked if this could be considered a two family residence. Is there a full
kitchen in the existing garage?
Mr. Doherty stated that he had no idea. That it was very possible. But, that would
be a zoning issue. He is not in the zone of contribution here. Conservation
Commission requested the I. A. system. As long as he has a previously approved
leaching facility that was installed for six-bedroom. He could have those six
bedrooms right now as far as the BOH is concerned. But, Conservation made him
go to the I. A. So, he brought him back in front of the BOH members because se they
need to acknowledge that he has an I. A. system and there is going to be ars
operation and maintenance with a total nitrogen quarterly for two years, They did
o round and round with the number of bedrooms. Where is a lot more behind
this process. The homeowner has been through this three or four times.
Mr. Ball made a motion to approve the 0 & M. Mr. Santos 'seconded it. Motion
passed.
7. Variance e gest: Elder Services of Cape Cod & Islands, Inc. Food Certification
Mr. Doherty asked if there was anyone here representing Elder Services,
Mr. Harrington responded that he had spoken with Many Rolanti of Elder
Services. She stated that she would not be conning. But, if he thought here was
going to be anything out of the ordinary then she would be present. Again, he felt
that this variance request was relatively straightforward and did not require her
presence.
Mr. Doherty continued that the DPH is on the bandwagon as far as this is
concerned providing that they've taken the steps to keep the staff up to date on
the regulations. Does the Senior Center meet all the requirements?
