dh
groundwater here. They are giving us groundwater contour maps in the report.
Mr. Santos stated that part of the reports Haat he sees all of the time is depth to
water, which is all part of the post-closure report. It is a standard post-closure
report required by the DER That they have to follow,
Ms. warden stated that they already have that information.
Mr. Santos continued that if you are going to change th6 casing of the well
regardless of ghat is going to be done. It has to be surveyed to have an actual
reading inn order to know where the groundwater is. Before, it might have been
123'to groundwater. But, you shorten or lengthen it by four feet. Then your
readings are going to be off by four feet.
Ms. Warden replied that they would have that information on a log.
Mr. Santos stated that that is something Haat has to been done by a surveyor,
Ms. warden stated that a well driller could do that.
Mr. Santos stated that it has to be a certified surveyor.
Ms. warden stated that well drillers are certified.
Mr. Doherty asked if they even knew what the actual extent of the damage of the
well is. Is it the well casing? Is it the cover?
Ms. Warden replied that that information was in the report.
Mr. Harrington replied that one of them is beat where the baler is stuck. one of the
ells has bored to the point Haat when they put a baler to sample it and the baler
got stuck. They tried several times and the baler is stuck. He had never actually
seen it,
Mr. Santos stated that it is basically not being sampled because it is damaged.
Mr. Harrington stated that he didn't know why that was done. It shouldn't happen
unless there is some slumping going on that would put some boor in the well. It is
2'pipe, which names it very easy to happen.
Nis. warden stated that would have to reviewthe report again, hut, it mentioned
all of the wells and why they needed to be repaired along with the map. It shovers
the location of all the wells on the neap.
Mr. Harrington continued that the groundwater contour map isn't included in
those reports.
The BOH board members and health agents proceed to review the details of the
report and the maps
