Mr. Ball stated that his thought process was to take the $8000.00
in the other accounts that they are cutting in the budget.
Ms. Ball stated that that money would be put in the professional
and technical account. That account is within the BOH general
accounts should they go into arrears on the seminars account the
money could be moved into the other account.
OLD BUSINESS
A. Mr. Ball began by stating that he was reviewing the minutes when
he was not present. He was particularly interested in the tobacco
sting operation that occurred. Apparently everyone passed and he
thought it would be a nice gesture to send the people that passed
a thank-you for doing their jobs.
Ms. Garron responded that Alan Samry came in and she had given
him that information. The owner from Andy's Market got on the
phone over the summer. His complaint was that all the papers did
was write them up when they failed the test and there was no
praise for the people who passed the test. Mr. Samry was going to
be doing an article for the Enterprise for the people who passed
the test.
Mr. Ball recommended that the BOH send a letter to them as well.
That was all he wanted.
DISCUSSION:
D. Earl Lantry 77 Horse Shoe Bend Drive
Mr. Lantry began by stating that this was a house over on
Ashumet Pond. It is a three-bedroom house up on cement blocks.
There is an existing system. The couple have owned it for over
twenty-years. They are proposing to tear down the present
residence and put in a three-bedroom ranch house identical to the
one across the street. It is one of the manufactured homes. They
bring it in in two sections and put it up. They had already been to
Conservation and they were please with the improvements that
they were proposing. Due to the high groundwater table, they are
proposing to use a Singulair alternate approved technology with
remediation. It is currently three-bedrooms and it will be three-
bedrooms. They needed to use this alternate technology for
distance to ground water because of the high ground water table.
12
