them of the rules and regulations pertaining to the UCRTS. She
advised them not to come in for inspection until tomorrow
morning or until the BOH had approved the request.
Mr. Doherty asked what really was at their physical location of
111 Rock Landing Road.
Ms. Warden replied that she was under the impression that it was
the address for the maintenance building at New Seabury. They
only have one truck. More than likely they will be doing the
Popponesset area because every year it goes out to bid. She was
under the impression that they provide other services to homes in
the area.
Mr. Ball made a motion to approve the request for a new
commercial trash hauler's license for One Point Home Curators.
Mr. Doherty seconded the motion. Motion passed.
APPOINTMENT: Cape & Islands Engineering 12 Great River Road
Mr. David Sanicki was present representing the applicant for 12
Great River Road. He began by stating that in 1997 the previous
owner was granted variances, which are shown on the plan. He
was trying to obtain the maximum distance from the water. He
obtained variances from the water to the septic system. They
have a denitrification system. The new owner, in November of
2001, came in on his own and spoke to the BOH members about a
renovation of the garage with an addition to the house. They have
a letter of approval subject to review of the building plans. What
has happened here, in lieu of the addition, because this house is
known on this plan, as elevation 89 on the first floor doesn't meet
flood zone requirements. They went for all of these variances
because this had an existing basement within a flood zone. Their
thinking now is that they are better decking the house per the
architect and building a new one with three bedrooms. His
question is that what is present before the BOH is a proposed
floor plan for a three-bedroom house. This system is designed
with a variance and a reduction for a three-bedroom house. Will
the BOH allow this to remain in place as installed for a new three-
bedroom house or does he have upgrade a septic system and add
in an additional 19% leaching facility to accommodate new
construction.
5
