Mr. Harrington asked Mr. Sanicki to confirm that the applicants <br /> would be staying at a three-bedroom home. <br /> Mr. Sanicki confirmed that they were staying at three-bedrooms. <br /> Mr. Doherty asked if the denitrification system was already in <br /> place. <br /> Mr. Sanicki confirmed that the denitrification system was already <br /> in place. He had an as built in file that confirms that it was built in <br /> either 1997 or 1998. <br /> Mr. Doherty asked how the performance of the system has been <br /> on the denitrification system. <br /> Mr. Sanicki stated that he had no knowledge of the performance <br /> because he doesn't monitor it. He knows it was installed because <br /> he inspected. But, he couldn't tell you the exact date that <br /> inspected it. The point is that the system was granted a variance <br /> for a three-bedroom. A lot of these variances were the distance to <br /> a slab or a distance to a street line. This was the further distance <br /> that he could put the system. <br /> Mr. Harrington confirmed that the system was put in in 1998. He <br /> was looking for any testing results. He didn't believe that there <br /> was any regulation in place regarding total nitrogen testing. <br /> Mr. Doherty asked if there was any kind of O & M in place. <br /> Mr. Harrington confirmed that there was an O & M in place. The <br /> Ph 5.9, suspended solids 8.8, BOD 3.3, which are all low numbers. <br /> Mr. Doherty stated that his first inclination is to go along with Mr. <br /> Sanicki's request. He just wanted to make sure that the system is <br /> performing well. If there is a problem then now is the time to <br /> address. <br /> Mr. Sanicki just wanted to be up-front with the BOH with <br /> reference to what they are doing. It was contemplated that <br /> approval would be allowed for an addition. But, now they are <br /> 6 <br />
