Ir. Harrington stated that the policy does state that temporary food
establishments not in compliance will be closed immediately. The food
code itself does have a penalty within it. They are doing inspections
according to food code.
Mr. Doherty asked Mr, Harrington to humor him. In that sentence any food
concession failing to meet public health standards, the permit will
immediately be revoked. something to the effect that if they are
operating without permit then they are in violation of the food code.
Ibis. Warden asked Mr, Doherty to define his position on either revoking
immediately.
Mr. Doherty stated that closing and revoking it permanently are two
different things. In other words, any foul concession failing to meet the
public health standards will be closed immediately and the permit will be
revoked. If they revoke the permit and they refuse to close or if the BOH
drives away and they still sell food. Then they are operating without a
permit then the BOH can kick in the penalty clauses of the food code.
Ms, Warden then asked Mr. Ball to reiterate his changes.
Mr, Ball reiterated on the second paragraph they may apply for a variance
or a waiver. He thea asked about the issue of a 11re f" in the B" section.
He continued by stating that they required a plywood floor with a secured
tarpaulin. You can just lay down a tarp and sell hotdogs or whatever, He
was more concerned about the floor on a food cart.
Mr, Harrington replied that they usually throw down one of those green
grass carpet deaf.
Mr. Ball made a motion to continue the request to adopt the Temporary
Food stand Policy until the required corrections are made. Mr. Santos
seconded the motion. Motion passed.
APPOINTMENT: Lt. Ruscio MMR Plume Update
Lt.
