records indicating its presence.
Mr. Kelleher stated that he had a three-foot riser and would give them the
approximate area. It is in a pit with a steel or concrete cover.
Mr. sanicki stated that he was totally surprised.
Mr, Doherty asked Mr, sani ki if he had considerer a denitrification
system since he was looking for a lot of variances.
Mr, sawni ki replied that should he have to for an existing system on this
lot. He was stink with it. If. the BOH mandates it. They will change the
plan and do that. He is going to ask for a continuance to locate an
irrigation well.
Mr. Harrington stated that he is going to ask to verify bedrooms.
Mr. Ball made a motion to continue theapplicant's request for a variance
until there was clarification on the well issue. Mr. Santos seconded the
motion. Motion passed.
APPOINTMENT: Michael Grotzke Brickyard Marketplace
llllr. Michael Grotzke was present on behalf of his client the Steven
Barrish and the Brickyard Marketplace. Mr, Grotzke began by stating that
he had three sets of plans, which were essentially the same thing with
some additions. The state did net concur that they should have a four-
foot to groundwater variance. The only option was to relocate the entire
leashing area outside the parking area and raise it so that it would have
the minimum of five-feet to groundwater and -abandoning the entire
system in plane. The plans before the BOH members show the leaching
bed system using the four-inch pipe. He is asking for the approval to use
flow diffusers in lieu of the plastic: pipe. The flow diffusers are probably a
x
better option as far as providing some tougher material and last long as
well. He would like the BOH to consider this option.
Mr, Ball asked Mr, Harrington if he had had time to review all of this stuff.
Mr. Harrington replied that this was the first time that he had reviewed
the new revised plan. He had seen the other plans with just the field but
not with the flow diffusers.
Mr. Ball asked if he would like the BOH members to continue this issue
so that he could have time to review it,
Mr. Harrington replied that he would like a shot at it. It is going to DEP.
f
1
