Ms. Warden continued that she noted Kevin Shackett's name at the
bottom. But, he wasn't ServSafe certified.
Mr. Harrington replied that the person who dropped this off didn't know a
whole lot about what was going on.
Mr. Santos stated that it was a non-profit request too.
Ms. Garron stated that the July First Fireworks should have Zesty's Hot
Dogs, Mr. Donahue and the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Harrington noted that the Mashpee Night at the Pops was on July
27th, 2002 and this request should be continued until we have more
information before they okay this temporary food permit request.
Ms. Grady made a motion to approve the requests for temporary food
permit for Don Donahue, Mashpee Chamber of Commerce and Zesty's Hot
Dogs. Mr. Ball seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Mr. Santos made a motion to continue the request for the Mashpee Night
at the Pops temporary food permit. Ms. Grady seconded the motion.
Motion passed.
APPOINTMENT: Cape & Islands Engineering 12 Great River Road
Mr. Sanicki was present from Cape & Islands Engineering representing
the applicants for this address. The plans enclosed were copies of the
proposed new house and a Title V septic system. Since the 1997
upgraded septic for the previous owners, abutting private wells have
been converted to town water services, which allows for 100% required
leaching. Without altering the grade of Great River Road, installing a
containment wall for the SAS, thus requiring the entire footprint moving
toward the wetlands, they were requesting a variance to the 4'
separation between the SAS and high groundwater. They were
maintaining a zero foot to the street property line maximizes the distance
from wetlands. Also they intend to reuse the FAST denitrification unit and
adding a UV treatment that has been added in the D-box.
Mr. Santos asked Mr. Harrington if he had any comments.
Mr. Harrington stated that he and Mr. Sanicki had already hatched this
out. He thought that the plan looked good.
Mr. Santos asked if the plan required and O & M. It was for the life of the
system.
5
