F
with a well on an undersized lot with town water proposed to go in with a
letter from the water district confirming delivery to that area. There was
also an affidavit signed by the owner saying that they will connect up
with the availability of town water. However, the DEP would not accept
that as a condition of approval. Their position was that because it was an
undersized lot with a well it has to meet the nitrogen loading regulations.
They denied it on that fact and kicked it back* The engineer has since
redesigned the plan with an a mphidrome, which is an approved
innovative/alternative for the two-bedroom on an undersized lot. This will
go back to DEP as a condition to meet the denial letter or as part of their
appeal within their60-day time frame. This was before the BOH for
approval of the innovative/alternative system and for the operation and
maintenance contract. They have used the a mphidrome systems before
and they work well.
i Mr. Santos asked what was the lot size,
Mr. Harrington replied that it was approximately 13,000 square feet.
Ms. Warden asked what was included with the amphidrome. Was it
provisional
Mr. Harrington replied that it was provisional. There were only two
systems that have nitrogen reduction the RUCK and the Fish.
Ms. Carron asked if it was the standard o & M with two year quarterly
testing for nitrogen.
Mr. Harrington confirmed that that was correct along PH, BOD, TSS and
total nitrogen quarterly for two years with a geed restriction, But, that is
all part of the provisional approval.
Mr. Ball made a motion to approve the request to use the amphidro e
system and an o & M agreement for provisional use for 74 Timberlane
Drive. IVIS. Grady seconded the notion. Motion passed.
r
14 Sampson's Mill Road
Mr. Harrington began b1 stating than this was a retail/storage with 360
square feet right on the corner of Sampson's Mill and Fite 28. He went
j through this with the engineer as far as the Boil's requirements, It is in
Zone 11, but it is 1.4 acres and they are under on their discharge and 600
CPD. He found everything else to be in compliance. There is sub-surface
drainage, which is a BOH requirement.
Mr. Ball asked if he was putting a reserve in toe.
14
