response. He would like to have Mr. Labute remove the old leaching pit on
Monday. That was his agreement with him, Mr, Labute came down and
spoke with Mr. Harrington who told him that there was a mention of plans.
Mr. Snow cane down and spoke with Mr. Harrington on Tuesday morning.
They put something together to appear here on Thursday night to address
this issue. He would like to fisc this thing and he would have Mr. Labute
begin immediately. He is looking to complete this task as efficiently as
possible. He noted that the board members have read his argument in the
letter. That aside, his understanding is that ar variance is not so much that
he was going to infringe upon everybody else's property. But, the hole will
not be set back 201 from his foundation. It was not the front but the rear of
the lot. In fact, it was in the corner where the lots meet. He spoke to Mr.
Labute who has assured him that should be able to do this with no
problem. There has been a lot of work done to the house. This was the
one thing he didn't know about until his seventy-five year old mother
contacted him and stated that the washing machine was not working. He treated the old leaching pit. Deady Footer
carne out for $1500-00 and was kind enough to pour whatever into it. The
system hasn't given them any problems since. He is now aware of it and
as the record titleholder he will deal with it. It is old and rather than have
Mr. Harrington give his approval orally. He thought he would conte before
the board and seek their vote.
Mr, Ball asked ghat Mr. Snow needed for time. He actually should ask
what Mr, Labute needed for time, He knew than he was busy.
IVMr. Snow responded that Mr. Labute could have had it done by now. He
started Monday.
Mr. Ball asked him for a short and long scenario.
Mr. Snow wanted Mr. Labute to start tomorrow. He has already had him
commit to a price. He would think it could be completed within 30 days
from the outset.
Ids. Warden stated that their issue is that with the engineered plans
aspect of it is that if there is a sideline variance warranted. They don't
have the surveying to determine what the variance is. That is why
engineered plans are required,, The variance is needed because there was
a possibility of running into the abutters' land and Title V regulations, She
didn"t think there was a plot plan in file.
Mr. Harrington confirmed that there wasn't a plot plat in file. There is one
4
