was on here. If anything, he would change it for the service for the
Section S. If they wanted to do It that way for the people who request the
MRVP inspections because there is somebody who is truly going to be
benefiting from their service. But, on a normal complaint where a tenant
is requesting something that is substandard, He felt that that was a
service that they needed to provide.
Ms. Grady thought that the inspection was for a new house.
Mr. Harrington responded that the only new houses that they inspect are
the ones that they have red flags on the floor plans, Otherwise there has
to be a reason for there to go out. He would certainly charge a fee for that.
But, he didn't see the necessity of charging a fee for a service that they
should provide because the statue says that they should.
Ills. Grady asked if Mr. Harrington wanted to change the wording to
specify charges for section 8 or something like that,
Mr. Harrington agreed and suggested that there be a fee for housing
inspection s for MRVP and section 8.
Mr. Santos stated that his question wasn't so much that. He was
concerned with the re-inspection because over here on single-family
septic systems. The re-inspection...
W. Harrington replied that it was up to the owner that they fisc the
violations or net.
IIr. Santos understood that and wondered if they should increase it from
$15.00 to $25.00, On septic re-inspections they go from $50.00 to $25.00.
He was just throwing it on the table.
Mr. Harrington agreed and stated that they were gong to request the
same thing for the food inspections.
Mr. Santos moved to "underground storage tank registration's for$1.00.
Mr. Harrington responded that It covered the cost of the brass tag.
Mr. Santos stated that his only concent was with budget crunching and
the whole mine yards. It covers for the tag. Buts what slid the board have to
here as far as Paperwork.
Mr. Harrington stated that he hadn't done one since he had been here.
