10
Mr. Ball asked what they needed to get a decision from Mashpee
Commons,
Mr. Harrington stated that it looked like the installations were going to
happen from September to the end of the year. He asked hover many
systems were they designing at this point in time. Four out of the five?
Mr. Hajjar replied that if might even be three. They have one building that
is completely empty,, The retail building will be under the threshold. It
was at least three. They would probably do four just to get it dome.
Mr. Harrington added that with those size systems with the FAST units...
Mr. Ball Mated that they could get these installed in the wintertime. If it
carne down to that. if Mashpee said yes, the DEP and then it would come
clown to the installations.
Mr. Harrington re-iterated that the DEP was not going to be involved with
this.
Mr. Santos clarified that they would not be involved in the installation of
the denitrification systems. But, the sewer limes would involve the DEP.
Mr. Harrington agreed and clarified that he was not taking about the
sewer line. He was talking about the fall back to the denitrification
systems. If they ultimately get a commitment letter from Mashpee
Commons, They are looking at the fall of 2004 of the next year anyways
to do the sewer lines,
Mr. HaJjar interjected that he understood where Mr. Harrington was going
with his thought process.
Mr. Harrington added that it wouldn't be the end of this year. He was just
looking at this year period for the board and Mr. Hajjar's first initial
agreement and deadline.
Mr. Hajjar added that he wanted to do whatever rade everyone happy.
He was flexible.
Mr. Darrington noted that at this point even if the board gave hire an
extension right now. It looked like Mr. sani ki would have the entire
summer to do the design work because the install wouldn't happen until
after Labor Day anyways. He thought that that would be enough time to
get the design work. done. They would have decent weather.
