i
y Temporary Food Permit Requests - Mashpee Boosters for Willowbend
"Pro-Anti"
Mrs Ball asked if they were asking to waive the fees for this event*
Ms. Warden hadn't received any request to waive the fees.
Ms. Grady didn't have a problem requesting the fees, However, if it was a
non-profit event then they should go along with the request to waive the
fee.
Mr. Ball asked how much the fee was going to be for the permit*
Ms. Warden responded that it was $25.00.
Mr. Bell noted that they were at odds on this matter, They would have to
wait until Mrs Santos was present.
Ms. Warden noted that the date of this event was the coming Monday.
Mr, Ball noted that since they couldn't agree they would have to go
forward with prejudice.
Ills. Grady did understood where Mr. Ball was coming from. But, he didn't
want o charge therm $100.00 when they were raising money all to be
givers solely to the children.
Mr. Ball also felt than if they did it for one of them. They would have to do
it for all of them.
Ms. Warden added that they were going to have recused Mr. Santos from
the vote because he has a conflict of interest. He belongs to the Mashpee
Booster clubs Inc.
Mr. Harrington suggested that the board members recommend that the
health agent make the decision regarding the fees. it would fake the heat
off of the board. lir. Ball was a single person board now.
Mils. Grady felt that every single parent in town could be a member of the
Boosters. Did that mean that she couldn't Grote?
Mr. Ball added that he could invoke "the Mule of necessity", too. All they
were voting for was the permits, They were not voting for the waiver of
the fees or anything.
Ms. Grady made a motion to approve the temporary foots permit
3
