M
good storm these yards were flooded and there was nothing they could
do.
Mr. Ball asked if they could bring if right out to the street with the flow
going into this area or the basin.
i
Mr. sanicki noted that they did have a puddle effect back in here. once
they got to a certain point the water is going to sink to its own level and
i move. He respected that however he had a cesspool system sitting in
peat, He was trying to replace it and minimize the effects on the
neighbors, He didn't have a major problem with this request of four-feet to
groundwater. The other areas are higher and everyone was going to have
more than the four-foot separation. The groundwater ran southeast
towards the bay so that they were not contaminating the well. There i
town grater out there.
Mr, Ball asked Mr. Harrington if he had any thoughts on the matter.
Mr. Harrington asked what he meant by a berm* Was this to stop it from
running off?
Niro sanicki responded by stating that the berm on the plans was to
maintain the property owners run off towards his own property. In a hell of
a storm or a flood he cold have a six-foot wall and it would not help either
one of them.
Mr. Harrington was thinking of the possibility of having a Swale. But, the
berm was going to be doing essentially the sane thing, or maybe on this
side where the actual grade above this system will be higher than the
abutting properties Mere.
Mr. sanicki stated that that was incorrect. This was going to cone out,
That was out down, He was fitting right into the natural right there and he
was going to fill back in. He was filling about a foot in back of the house.
This is a neva contour. He was matching the eight here.
Mr. Harrington continued by stating that he was jdst wondering if he was
going to be higher. They could put a snare in here to also brim it toward
the front yard.
Mr. Ball asked if Mr. sanicki would be higher with the eight,
Mr, sanicki answered that it was going to be eight-eight. This shows the
eight-foot contour and this ground is higher. In this corner he was going to
match in to the existing grade pretty darn decent with this proposal, if he
6
