Request to Reduce I/A Monitoring -22 Beechwood Drive
Mr. Harrington began by stating that he had received a letter from Waste
Water Treatment Services, which is the company that completes the
operation and maintenance agreement for the FAST system at 22
Beechwood give. In looking at this file the board required the FAST
system because of variances to wells, Water has been provided to both
Beechwood and Forest Drive, which have two active wells, Actually there
are only two wells that are affected one above and one on the subject
property. If the subject property and the abutter can be connected up to
town grater the requirement would be eliminated.
Ms. Grady asked what their plans were.
Mr. Harrington stated that in looking at the plans he was more concerned
with the actual looking into reducing the types of monitoring. But, when
he reviewed the plan, he realized that it was because of the wells and not
because of Zone !I. They didn't have to meet their total nitrogen quarterly
for two years requirement. He thought that they could get rid of the FAST
system totally if those other conditions have been resolved.
3
