i 4
IVIS. Grady asked if Mr. Harrington would like to send a letter to them,
Mr. Harrington agreed and stated that he would like to notify the
homeowners of the situation at hard before the board makes an actual
decision to reduce the monitoring.
Mr. Santos asked if the homeowner's request was to go from four to two.
Mr. Harrington thought that was correct and what the state would allow.
Mr. Santos asked if they wanted to indefinitely postpone this item on the
agenda.
Mr. Harrington felt that they should postpone it until they receive a
response to the letter he will send there letting then know that they may
not need that system at all.
Mr. Santos made a motion to postpone this request for a reduction in
quarterly testing until further verification of the continued necessity for
the FAST system. Ms, Grady seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Ships Wheel Drive --.day Sumner
Mr. Harrington began by stating they originally received notification of
problems at this property by Ms, Louise Patrick of human services. 'There
was a gentleman who was shoring signs of questionable behavior. This
was confirmed by information from the abutters that questioned his
meatal health. Both the human services and police department were
notified to check on hire. The department-of mental health eventually
carne down to remove him from the premises. They were notified at that
time by the fire department to core in and check the conditions of the
dwelling, In order to get access they obtained a search warrant. They did
a full sanitary code inspection later this morning, Ultimately, they would
like to have the house condemned. There were conditions that met the
requirements making it unfit for human habitation. He had copies of the
inspection report for the board to review along with the search warrant.
IVIS. Warden noted that they had pictures. But, unfortunately they became
part of the court's packet in order to obtain a search warrant,
Mr. Harrington stated that all of the violations that the board could review
under Section 7 are ultimately sections that involve material that involve
the safety of the well being of the occupant.
i IIIb. Santos asked if there wasn't any waterm Was it turned off?
i
k
