Motion passed, <br /> APPOINTMENT: Ken McNulty- The Flume Restaurant <br /> Mr. McNulty was present as the new owner of the plume. He wanted to let <br /> the beard members know that they were on top of the necessity to install <br /> a denitrification system. He had spoken with John Sla insky at cape <br /> Islands. Mr. Slavinsky had given hires an estimate of what it was going to <br /> cost to do it. They were out in front of it. But, they were hoping to have <br /> some time to get it done. <br /> Mrs Ball asked Mr. McNulty is he had been working with Mr. Harrington in <br /> order to accomplish this task. <br /> Mr. Harrington interjected that once they had signed the P & S he asked <br /> thein to cone in front of the board and set a timeline for the.upgrade of <br /> the system to meet Regulation 70. <br /> Mr. Ball asked Mr. McNulty is he had a timeline. <br /> Mr. McNulty showed Mr. Ball a preliminary plan from Mr. Slavinksy. He had <br /> the flow rate on the plan with the costs to upgrade, <br /> Mr. Ball noted that it did not include a timeframe. <br /> Mr. Harrington felt that they needed to come up with that date at this <br /> meeting. cape & Islands did all of the preliminary work for the system <br /> that was in the ground. They were not going to be touching the leaching <br /> again. This was going to be a retrofit with the FAST system, which <br /> included the use of the reaching. It passed the inspection. The timeline <br /> was contingent upon the board's pleasure as to when they wanted the <br /> work to be completed. <br /> Mrs Ball felt that they always worked with people* He asked Mr. McNulty <br /> stat a reasonable time frame would be, <br /> Mr. McNulty stated that looting at the cost to do this and the bank's <br /> involvement with the financing. Fre didn't know about this cost of the <br /> retrofit before he applied for the financing. Therefore, every profit they <br /> were planning on making this year was going to get sucked up by this <br /> project. He would like a full year to make the profits to pay for it.
