h
F
Mr, Ed Richardi, owner of Carbols, was the nest person to speak* He was
the last man in. Mr. Haj,jar was now after him. Mr. Hajjar knee all of these
problems going into this deal. He had provided hire with informations
arbonneau provided hire with information. Where was $175,000,00 left on
the table for Mr. Hajjar. so this wasn't any mystery to anybody. But, Mr.
Hajjar has no feelings for anybody in this room because he feels that he
has Mr, McGrath to put in this pilot system and this is what caused this
whole problem right now, And causing a problem like this it took away
from their children because or his, he wouldn't say inability, but his ability
to cut his cost on his end whatever deal he made with Mr. McGrath to do
this pilot system. He had heard several different propositions that were
made to him to do this pilot system. so in the process of him doing4his he
was trampling therm who had been doing the herd work and the employed
people in Mashpee that work here year around. You were talking about
year round jobs. You were talking about something he knew about going
into this deal. Something that' arbonneau left $1751000.00 on the table.
Something the board knew about it. Something the board gage him time to
justify the system. If you went with the straight normal system and didn't
bother going up to the DEP and open up a can of worms so that Mr. Hajjar
could save a couple of bucks. Whatever he saved now has probably turned
around and caused most of this problem for everybody in this group
including him. They as a grew met with him. They as group were willing
t give up 17 seats. That meant absolutely nothing to him. As1 far as going
back t 1995, he wasn't here in 1995. He bought a restaurant that had 70
seats. He went to the town n and down to the board He checked out his
licenses and did everything he was supposed too due - due diligence, To
quote Mr. Hal'Jar he didn't do that. Well he did that and when he bought it.
He stepped back so Mr. Hajjar could buy the where thing because he had
the option on the building beside hire. But, Mr. Hajjar assured hire that
everything would be straightened out. so, how he straightened it out for
hires. Mr. Hajjar took away his deck and his cooler that he got permission
to use from carbonneau. He did not have that in writing. That was where
they were in this natter. Going into this as far as Michelle's goes, there
was a lot wriggling and wrangling going on here. They were straight
people. They bought something that said X, Y and Z. Because of Mr.
HajJar1s maneuvering that why they were all sitting here right now. He
thanked the board for listening to helms
lir* McGrath staters that he had a very simple suggestion. Why didn't they
invite the DEP down here to speak to then? He wasn't a bad guy who
invented something that the oldest test center showed the ability to.
further denitrify below the SAS. No one else was doing that. He had
technology that was enormously promising to any town. And yes, it was
slightly cheaper than the competitors and they were being pert through the
wringer. He felt that rather then them being called names the people that
1.3
